Editor’s Summary of all reviews of the Nissan Titan
We went through five reviews and only Kelley Blue Book loves the Nissan Titan. We agree and think Nissan needs to decide if it wants to compete in the US with this truck Clearly Nissan has stepped up its game with the Altima and other models but their focus is just not there with the Titan. We think it is pricey as listed but we are confident with a little help the price comes down and you drive out the door with a long lasting luxury full sized pickup. You’ll believe it when the first snows hit and you are comfy and tooling down the road.
What the Reviewers Are Saying About the Nissan Titan
Kelley Blue Book reviewers were supporters of the 2014 Nissan Titan. They thought it stood up to its Ford, GM and Ram competitors. They felt that the base Titan handled the heavy lifting jobs because of its V8 Engine. But to be fair to yourself, you need to read what the other reviewers are saying.
The US News reviewers were not strong supporters of the Nissan Titan. They marked the Nissan Titan down on its cheap, dated interior and its poor fuel economy. Tough to get that out of your mind. It says to us…dealer will negotiate. The US News reviewers liked the Titan’s handling but wanted more engine choices. All good points.
The AutoTrader reviewers agreed with US News and thought the Titan had a tough time standing up to the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-150 and Ram trucks.
The Left Lane Reviewers called the Nissan Titan a good pickup with plenty of power and capability. That is as good as it gets for their Titan review. Left Lane reviewers mark it down across the board when compared to its competitors.
The reviewers at Consumer Guide were the toughest on the Titan. They didn’t think it had the power, mileage rating, body, quality, handling and comfort to compete with the Chevrolet Silverado, the Ford F-150 or Ram 1500. They call it a “bad truck.” The only positive they acknowledges is that it aggressively priced.
