CEO Elon Musk has been hinting at ‘unveiling the D’ for several weeks now, and this past week he made a huge announcement. The Tesla Model D is a revved up version of the Model S sedan, equipped with an additional engine component. With 691 HP, the Model D reaches speeds of 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. It is also equipped with All Wheel Drive (AWD) and a smart driving system.
